The big issue I have with fad diets is that today nutrition and weight loss are personalized, not a one size fits all. Plus most fad diets do not help you change your habits. They just promise weight loss usually thru deprivation and very low calories along with some types of pills, drinks or supplements. Then you gain the weight right back when you return to your old ways. Be sure and listen to the podcast as Clark talks about what to watch out for when you see these “lose weight quick” ads and tells you what questions to ask before handing over money.
